Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall expire auto-
matically and with no further action required by the General Assem-
bly on December 1, 1966.
SEC. 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT IF ANY
PROVISION, SENTENCE, CLAUSE, WORD OR PORTION OF
THIS ACT OR THE APPLICATION THEREOF TO ANY PER-
SON OR CIRCUMSTANCES IS HELD INVALID, SUCH INVA-
LIDITY SHALL NOT AFFECT OTHER PROVISIONS OR APPLI-
CATIONS OF THIS ACT WHICH CAN BE GIVEN EFFECT
WITHOUT THE INVALID PROVISION OR APPLICATION AND
TO THIS END THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT ARE DE-
CLARED TO BE SEVERABLE.
Sec. 4. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby de-
clared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health and safety, and having been passed
by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of the members
elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

(House Bill 743)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 107 of
Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Supplement),
title "Courts," subtitle "Municipal Court of Baltimore City," to
add an additional associate judge to the Municipal Court of Balti-
more City.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 107 of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Supplement), title "Courts," subtitle "Municipal Court of Balti-
more City," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
107.
The Municipal Court of Baltimore City shall consist of a chief
judge and ten associate judges as provided for by Article IV, Section
41C of the Constitution of this State and [four] five additional
associate judges.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.
