laws, Chapters 854 and 855 of the Acts of 1963, the same have failed
of adoption and ratifications, and, therefore, under the provisions of
Article XVI of the Constitution, stands rejected by a majority of the
qualified voters of Anne Arundel County; and

Whereas, a majority of the votes having been cast for the
adoption of the said referred laws, Chapters 894, 896, 897, 898 and 899
of the Acts of 1963, the same were duly adopted and ratified and,
therefore, under the provisions of Article XVI of the Constitution,
shall take effect as enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
thirty days after having been ratified by a majority of the qualified
voters voting thereon.
