Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 204 through 220, inclusive, of the Charter and Public
Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore City," sub-
title "Miscellaneous Local Laws," subheading "Taxicab Bureau," be
and they are hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 929
(House Bill 932)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 37 (b)
of Article 87 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Sheriff," subtitle "Compensation and Duties,"
to increase the amount of money the Sheriff of Anne Arundel
County shall receive annually for salaries of the deputy sheriffs
and necessary clerical personnel employed by him.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 37 (b) of Article 87 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Replacement Volume), title "Sheriff," subtitle "Compensation
and Duties," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
37.
(b) The Sheriff of Anne Arundel County shall receive an annual
salary of $7,500 plus an expense allowance for his personal expenses
incidental to his duties of $2,500. In addition to his salary, the
Sheriff shall receive [$55,000] $75,000 $65,000 annually to be used
for salaries of deputies and any clerical assistance he deems necessary.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 930
(House Bill 947)
AN ACT to add new Section 47 (d) to Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Elections," subtitle "Regis-
tration Appeals and Copies of Registration Lists," to follow im-
mediately after Section 47 (c) thereof to require the Board of
Election Supervisors in Worcester County to combine all general
lists of registered voters in the county with all supplementary lists
into a new general list at least once every four years.
