(House Bill 199)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 2 of
Chapter 32 of the Acts of the General Assembly of the Special
Session of March 11,1964, to change the effective date of the repeal
of the requirement for attachment of fiscal notes to bills considered
by the General Assembly resulting in a decrease or increase in State
revenues or appropriations, in order to make the repeal effective
immediately.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 2 of Chapter 32 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
the Special Session of March 11, 1964, be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act [shall take effect
June 1, 1965] is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and
necessary for the immediate 'preservation of the public health and
safety, and having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of the members elected to each of the two houses of the
General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its
passage.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby declared

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 19 (f)
of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Supple-
ment), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor
Licenses," to reduce the Class B (on sale) beer, wine and liquor
license fee in Dorchester County.
