CHAPTER 160
(House Bill 47)

AN ACT to add new Section 111 A to Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1964 Supplement), title
"Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Crimes and Punishments,"
subheading "Destroying, Injuring, Etc., Property Maliciously," to
follow immediately after Section 111 thereof, making it a misde-
meanor to wilfully, and maliciously open the gate to another's field,
pasture, or enclosure, enclosing livestock, and providing a penalty
for violations.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 111 A be and it is hereby added to Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1964 Supplement),
title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Crimes and Punishments,"
subheading "Destroying, Injuring, Etc., Property Maliciously," to
follow immediately after Section 111 thereof, and to read as follows:

111A.

Any person who shall wilfully and maliciously open the gate of
another's field, pasture, or enclosure, enclosing livestock, shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be subject
to imprisonment for a period of not more than one year or to a fine
of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or to both imprison-
ment and fine.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

Approved March 11, 1965.

CHAPTER 161
(House Bill 114)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 77 of
Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition
and 1964 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Adminis-
tration-Registration-Titling," defining "temporary registration
plate" and "permanent registration plate," making certain acts
committed with respect to temporary registration plates mis-
demeanors and not felonies, and providing penalties therefor.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 77 of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition and 1964 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles," sub-
title "Administration-Registration-Titling," be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

77.

(a) It shall be a felony for any person to commit any of the
following acts:
