OR NOTES, THE COMMISSION SHALL ADJUST THE WATER
RATES, EITHER CONSUMPTION CHARGE OR SERVICE
CHARGE, IN ITS DISCRETION, ON ALL PROPERTY SERVED
BY THE COMMISSION TO THE EXTENT NECESSARY TO
MEET SAID ADJUSTMENT, WHICH CHARGES MAY BE
CHANGED FROM YEAR TO YEAR UNDER THE PROVISIONS
OF THIS ARTICLE.
(E) THE COMMISSION MAY EXEMPT FROM THE OPERA-
TION OF THIS ARTICLE, WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE
COUNTY HEALTH OFFICER, ANY PERSON, FIRM OR IN-
STITUTION RESIDING IN THE ABOVE DEFINED BOUND-
ARIES, ENGAGED IN FEEDING GARBAGE TO HOGS.
(F) ANY PERSON VIOLATING THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
SECTION SHALL BE GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND
UPON CONVICTION THEREOF, SHALL BE FINED NOT LESS
THAN FIVE NOR MORE THAN FIFTY DOLLARS, OR BY IM-
PRISONMENT FOR NOT MORE THAN 30 DAYS, OR BOTH,
IN THE DISCRETION OF THE COURT.
Sec. 2 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

(House Bill 713)
AN ACT to add a new subsection under Section 9 of Article 33 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, 1964 Cumulative
Supplement), title "Elections," subtitle "Judges of Election," in-
creasing the compensation of judges of elections in Prince George's
County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new subsection being the same is added to Section 9 of Ar-
ticle 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, 1964
Cumulative Supplement), title "Elections," subtitle "Judges of Elec-
tion," to follow subparagraph (k) thereof, to be known as (1), the
same to read as follows:
9.
(1) Notwithstanding any previous provision under this section
in Prince George's County, the compensation of judges of elections
is hereby fixed at $25.00 per day for each election day actually served.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.
