J. MILLARD TAWES, Governor                     1293

State law relating to the income tax, the tax on amusements, the
license tax, and the corporation franchise tax, and shall be so deducted
ratably within fourteen (14) years from the date of the issuance of
the certificates; and

2.   As to each county responsible for repayment of financial assist-
ance granted to a sanitary district under this act the amount of
financial assistance allowed, as provided herein, together with interest
and carrying charges, shall be deducted by the Comptroller of the
Treasury from funds due said county, under applicable provisions
of state law relating to the tobacco tax, the corporation franchise tax,
and the tax on distilled spirits, and shall be so deducted ratably within
fourteen (14) years from the date of the issuance of the certificates;
and

3.   Such other terms and conditions as may be required by regula-
tion of the State Board of Health and Mental Hygiene and approved
by the Board of Public Works.

(g) (F) The agreement described in subparagraph (f) of this sub-
section shall be signed on behalf of the State of Maryland by the
State Board of Health and Mental Hygiene, and shall be approved by
the Board of Public Works.

(h) (G) The governing body of each of the counties and of each of
the municipal corporations in this State is hereby authorized and
empowered to enter into any and all contracts or agreements required
under the terms of this Act, or which may be required by regulations
duly promulgated by the State Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene with the approval of the Board of Public Works pursuant
to the provisions of this Act, any other provisions of public general
law or public local law to the contrary notwithstanding.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to add new Section 83-97A to the Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (1963 Edition), and a new Section 73-79A
to the Montgomery County Code (1960 Edition), AND TO RE-
PEAL AND RE-ENACT, WITH AMENDMENTS, SECTION
83-98 OF THE PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF PRINCE GEORGE'S
COUNTY (1963 EDITION) AND SECTION 73-80 OF THE
MONTGOMERY COUNTY CODE (1960 EDITION), being
Articles 17 and 16, respectively, of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, titles "Prince George's County" and "Montgomery
County," subtitle "Washington Suburban Sanitary District,"
terminating the authority of the Commission UNDER CERTAIN
CONDITIONS to operate or establish a refuse collection and dis-
posal system in that part of the Washington Suburban Sanitary
