(Senate Bill 281)
AN ACT to add new Section 2A to Article 11 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Banks and Trust Companies",
sub-title "Bank Commissioner", to follow immediately after Section
2 thereof, to declare the deputy bank commissioner of the State an
appointed State official for the purposes of the provisions of the
State employees retirement system specifying a mandatory age
for retirement.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 2A be and it is hereby added to Article 11 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Banks and Trust
Companies", sub-title "Bank Commissioner", to follow immediately
after Section 2 thereof, and to read as follows:
2A. The deputy bank commissioner shall be deemed an appointed
official within the meaning of Section 11 of Article 7 SB of this Code,
and any amendments thereto, and shall be treated as such until
December 1, 1967 for all purposes of said Article 73B.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall expire
automatically and with no further action required by the General
Assembly on December 1,1967.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 121
(Senate Bill 312)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 329 of
Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Health", sub-title "Plumbing", to provide an additional com-
missioner to serve on the State Board of Commissioners of Prac-
tical Plumbing and to provide the district from which he will be
appointed.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 329 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Health", sub-title "Plumbing", be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
329.
The Governor shall appoint biennially [five] six persons who shall
constitute a board of commissioners, which shall be known and desig-
nated as "The State Board of Commissioners of Practical Plumb-
ing", and who shall be selected as follows: [Five] six persons who
are practical and skilled plumbers, two of whom shall be from Balti-
