(f) The "Sinepuxent Beach Plat of Ocean City, Maryland", re-
ferred to as part of the descriptions of the fill and bulkhead line and
of the borrow area limit line, is the Sinepuxent Beach Plat of Ocean
City, Maryland, as recorded in the land records of Worcester County,
Maryland, with a deed from Thomas T. Taper, et al to the Sine-
puxent Beach Company of Baltimore City, in Liber F H P No. 1,
Folio 550-553, inclusive. The plat is in Plot Book O D C No. 1, Folio 2.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby-
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety, and having been
passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of the mem-
bers elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the
same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 758
(Senate Bill 490)

AN ACT to repeal Section 45A of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Howard County (1957 Edition, being Article 14 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Howard County", sub-title
"County Commissioners and County Collectors", as added by
Chapter 275 of the Acts of 1963, and to enact new Section 45A in
lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the Section repealed, to provide
a continuing authority to the County Commissioners of Howard
County to borrow on short term notes to meet the expenses of
county government, prescribing a limit upon the total amount that
may be borrowed at any time and specifying the sources in Howard
County from which such borrowing may be obtained.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 45A of the Code of Public Local Laws of Howard
County (1957 Edition, being Article 14 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Howard County", sub-title "County Com-
missioners and County Collectors", as added by Chapter 275 of the
Acts of 1963, be and it is hereby repealed, and that new Section 45A
be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of
the Section repealed, and to read as follows:

45A.

The County Commissioners of Howard County are authorized to
borrow from time to time on short term rates
NOTES from any
bank or trust company in the County a sum not to exceed at any
one time the amount of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars
($250,000) to meet expenses incurred in the operation of the county
government.
THEY SHALL PLEDGE THE FULL FAITH AND
CREDIT OF HOWARD COUNTY AS SECURITY FOR THESE
NOTES.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1965.
