or statement of a candidate for State-wide office or representative in
Congress or political committee shall be filed with the Secretary of
State by no later than noon on:

(1)    the seventh day preceding the primary or general election
and this report shall contain all contributions received and expendi-
tures made in furtherance of the candidate's nomination by the
candidate himself, or with the knowledge of the candidate, by any
other person or groups of persons since the date of the last preced-
ing election to fill the office for which he is a candidate; and

(2)    thirty days after the primary or general election; and

(3) sixty days after the primary or general election; and

(4) (3) if any unpaid bills or deficits remain to be paid at the time
the report or statement in subsection (a)
(3) (2) above is filed, six
months
60 DAYS after the primary or general election; and

(5) (4) if any unpaid bills or deficits remain to be paid at the time
the report or statement in subsection (a)
(4) (3) above is filed, one
year
SIX MONTHS after the primary or general election.

(5) IF ANY UNPAID BILLS OR DEFICITS REMAIN TO BE
PAID AT THE TIME THE REPORT OR STATEMENT IN SUB-
SECTION (A) (3) ABOVE IS FILED, ONE YEAR AFTER THE
PRIMARY OR GENERAL ELECTION.

(b) It is the responsibility of the candidate and treasurer, jointly,
if it is the statement of a candidate, or the chairman and treasurer,
jointly, of a political or State or local central committee, to file and
they shall file such report or statement in full and accurate detail;
except that it is the responsibility of the respective treasurer alone
to file and he shall file the report or statement required in subsection
(a) (1) above in full and accurate detail.
