110.

(a) Notwithstanding that a greater imprisonment or fine may be
permitted by statutory or common law, for any offense within the
jurisdiction of said court, the court shall have no power to impose any
imprisonment in the Maryland Penitentiary nor any imprisonment
in excess of three years, or any fine in excess of one thousand dollars
($1,000), or both fine and imprisonment in excess of three years
and one thousand dollars, for any one offense before it.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the provisions of this Act
shall not be construed to extend or apply to any offenses occurring
prior to the effective date of this Act.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.
