AN ACT to add new Section 32G to Article 26 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1963 Supplement), title "Courts," subtitle "Circuit
Courts for the Counties—Court Stenographers," to follow im-
mediately after Section 32F thereof, providing an additional Cir-
cuit Court Judge for Frederick County,; TO REPEAL AND RE-
ENACT, WITH AMENDMENTS, SECTION 47(C-4) OF
ARTICLE 26 OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND
(1963 SUPPLEMENT), TITLE "COURTS," SUBTITLE "SAL-
ARIES OF JUDGES"; AND TO REPEAL AND RE-ENACT,
WITH AMENDMENTS, SECTION 5-8 OF THE CODE OF
FREDERICK COUNTY MARYLAND 1959, BEING ARTICLE
11 OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF MARYLAND,
TITLE "FREDERICK COUNTY," SUBTITLE "COURTS,"
SUBHEADING "ARTICLE II CIRCUIT COURT," MAKING
PROVISIONS FOR THE COMPENSATION OF THIS ADDI-
TIONAL JUDGE, and relating to the appointment, SALARY and
selection of the additional judge.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 32G be and it is hereby added to Article 26 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1963 Supplement), title "Courts," sub-
title "Circuit Courts for the Counties—Court Stenographers," to
follow immediately after Section 32F thereof, AND THAT SECTION
47(C-4) OF ARTICLE 26 OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF
MARYLAND (1963 SUPPLEMENT), TITLE "COURTS," SUB-
TITLE "SALARIES OF JUDGES," BE AND THE SAME IS
HEREBY REPEALED AND RE-ENACTED, WITH AMEND-
MENTS, AND THAT SECTION 5-8 OF THE CODE OF FRED-
ERICK COUNTY MARYLAND 1959, TITLE "FREDERICK
COUNTY," SUBTITLE "COURTS," SUBHEADING "ARTICLE II
CIRCUIT COURT," BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY RE-
PEALED AND RE-ENACTED, WITH AMENDMENTS, and to
read as follows:
32G.
In addition to the Circuit Court judge for Frederick County for
which provision now is made, there shall be a second judge who
shall likewise be a resident of Frederick County. The two judges
SECOND JUDGE thus provided for Frederick County shall reside
in that county, shall be elected by the duly qualified voters of that
county in accordance with the provisions of Section 3, Article IV of
the Constitution of Maryland and shall be selected in the manner pro-
vided by Section 5 of Article IV of the Constitution of Maryland and.
HE shall be subject to all the provisions of the Constitution and (EX-
CEPT AS TO SALARY PROVISIONS) HE SHALL BE SUBJECT
