subtitle "In General," providing for a county welfare board in Somerset
County composed of eight members.

A Bill entitled: An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Sections 152E (a), 152J (a) and 152K (a) and (b) of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Howard County (1957 Edition, being Article 14 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), as amended by Chapter 597 of
the Laws of Maryland 1963, title "Howard County," subtitle "People's
Court of Howard County," and adding a new Subsection (d) to Section
152H thereof, increasing the salaries of the Chief Judges of the People's
Court, amending the salary provisions relating to other People's Court
employees and authorizing the Judges to grant probation without finding
a verdict.

A Bill entitled: An Act to add a new Section 5(Z) to Article 25A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1963 Supplement), title
"Chartered Counties of Maryland," subtitle "Express Powers," to follow
immediately after Section 5(Y) thereof, amending the so-called Express
Powers Act with relation to the powers of chartered counties in order to
permit any chartered county to enact certain local laws on the subject of
public accommodations.

Senate Bill No. 30—By Senator Dorf:
A Bill entitled: An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Sections 150 (h) and 154 (a) of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition and 1963 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles,"
subtitle "Unsatisfied Claim and Judgment Fund," to change the definition
of an uninsured motor vehicle under the Unsatisfied Claim and Judgment
Fund to include vehicles insured by a company under delinquency pro-
ceedings under the Insurance Code, and to provide for the time within
which notice of claims against such uninsured persons must be given to
the Fund.
