INTRODUCTION OF BILLS
House Bill No. 47—By Delegate Bresler:
A Bill entitled: An Act to add new Article 49C to the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Job Development Authority" to follow
immediately after Article 49B thereof, creating the Maryland job develop-
ment authority for the purpose of assisting financially in the construction,
acquisition, rehabilitation and improvement of industrial and manufactur-
ing plants in the labor surplus areas of the State, so that job opportunities
in such areas may be created and increased and the goal of full employ-
ment brought closer to realization, providing for the powers and duties of
such authority and for certain powers and duties of the Department of
Labor and Industry and the Comptroller related thereto, and making
appropriations therefor.

House Bill No. 48—By Delegate Bossle:
A Bill entitled: An Act to repeal Sections 159 through 166A, inclu-
sive, of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1963 Supplement),
title "Elections," subtitle "House of Representatives," and to enact in lieu
thereof new Sections 159 through 166A, inclusive, to stand in the place
of the sections so repealed, revising the several Congressional districts in
this State for the election of representatives in the Congress of the United
States, creating a new Eighth District, and relating generally to the
