CHAPTER 36
(Senate Bill 135)

AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland to sundry gifts, bequests and devises contained in the
Last Wills and Testaments of certain persons, deceased, and also
to certain gifts, grants, sales, leases and deeds made by various
persons to and for the use and benefit of sundry ministerial per-
sons, religious corporations, vestries, educational and charitable
institutions, churches, denominations or sects hereinafter named.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the sanction and consent of the said General Assembly of Mary-
land be and the same is hereby declared, given and granted to the
following gifts, bequests, devises, grants, sales, leases, conveyances
and deeds, to and from certain persons and bodies corporate to and
for the use of certain ministerial persons, religious and educational
corporations, orders, denominations and sects, and to certain charit-
able institutions hereinafter named and hereinafter set forth.

1. A conveyance by John R. Curry and Louis C. Curry, individual-
ly and as partners t/a Curry Lumber Company to "Apostolic Faith
Church" of Barrelville, Maryland, by deed dated September 29, 1948,
which was recorded on November 19, 1948 in Deeds Liber No. 223,
folio 207 among the Land Records of Allegany County, Maryland.
The deed conveyed a lot 150 feet square.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1964.

Approved April 7, 1964.

CHAPTER 37
(Senate Bill 138)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 23 of Article 40
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "General
Assembly", sub-title "Intergovernmental Cooperation", and to en-
act in lieu thereof new Sections 15, 16 and 17 to stand in the place
of Sections 15, 16 and 17 which are repealed, reconstituting the
Maryland Commission on Intergovernmental Cooperation and pro-
viding generally for its membership and operations and for an
Advisory Committee representing the Executive Department.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 23 of Article 40 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "General Assembly", sub-title
"Intergovernmental Cooperation", be and they are hereby repealed,
and that new Sections 15, 16, and 17, be and they are hereby enacted
in lieu thereof to stand in the place of Sections 15, 16 and 17 so
repealed, and all to read as follows:
