may be determined by the Clerk of the Circuit Court in each county or
the Clerk of the Superior Court in Baltimore City. In addition thereto
the clerk shall charge the sum of $1.00 per name for each name to be
indexed on said instrument, the names of husband and wife to be
counted separately. This charge to include indexing both under the
block system and the grantor-grantee index:
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1964.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 120 (a)
and 122 of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition and 1963 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle
"Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility," increasing the amount
of property damage required before necessitating the filing of a
motor vehicle accident report.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Sections 120(a) and 122 of Article 66½ of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1963 Supplement), title "Motor
Vehicles," subtitle "Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility," be and
they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
120.
(a) The operator of every motor vehicle which is in any manner
involved in an accident within this State, in which any person is
killed or injured, or in which damage to the property of any one
person, including himself, in excess of [$75] one hundred fifty
dollars ($150.00) is sustained, shall within five days report the mat-
ter in writing to the Department. If such operator be physically
incapable of making such report, the owner of the motor vehicle
involved in such accident, shall, as soon as he learns of the accident,
report the matter in writing to the Department. The operator or
the owner shall make such other and additional reports relating to
such accident as the Department shall require.
122.
Within ninety days after the receipt of a report of a motor ve-
hicle accident within this State which has resulted in bodily injury
or death, or damage to the property of any one person in excess of
[$75] one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00), the Department shall
suspend the license of each operator and all registrations of each
owner of a motor vehicle in any manner involved in such accident,
and if such operator is a nonresident the privilege of operating a
motor vehicle within this State, and if such owner is a nonresident
the privilege of the use within this State of any motor vehicle owned
