obsolete and unnecessary local law of Prince George's County con-
cerning the duties of constables, sheriffs or deputy sheriffs.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 416 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County (1953 Edition, being Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's County,"
subtitle "Constables," and also said subtitle be and the same are
hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

Approved April 17, 1963.

CHAPTER 528
(House Bill 907)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 16 and 17 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Prince George's County (1953 Edition, being Article 17
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince
George's County," subtitle "Bawdy Houses," repealing certain
obsolete and unnecessary laws of Prince George's County relating
to the erection, establishment, maintenance, use or occupation of
bawdy houses and houses of ill fame, said sections being unneces-
sary under statewide laws.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 16 and 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County (1953 Edition, being Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's County," sub-
title "Bawdy Houses," be and they are hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

Approved April 17, 1963.

CHAPTER 529
(House Bill 926)

AN ACT to add new Section 5 to Article 26 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Courts," subtitle "General Pro-
visions," to follow immediately after Section 4 thereof and to
replace the Section 5 which was repealed by Chapter 36 of the
Acts of 1962, providing that certain persons adjudged guilty of
contempt shall not be thereafter barred from obtaining relief in
the same proceeding solely by reason of such adjudication of
contempt.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 5 be and it is hereby added to Article 26 of the
