CHAPTER 454
(House Bill 412)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 226 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Howard County (1957 Edition),
being Article 14 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland}-,
title "Howard County," subtitle "Trailer Camps," relating to where
trailers may be used in Howard County for living purposes re-
stricting such use to such areas licensed therefor by the zoning
commissioner of Howard County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 226 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Howard County
(1957 Edition), being Article 14 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Howard County," subtitle "Trailer Camps," be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

226.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to maintain
or use or permit to be maintained or used any trailer coach which is
occupied for dwelling or sleeping purposes on any ground or place,
[the title to which ground or place is not owned by the person, firm
or corporation owning such trailer coach, except in a duly licensed
trailer coach park; provided that non-paying guests of the owner of
such ground or place shall be permitted to maintain or use not more
than one trailer coach on such ground or place.] except in a duly
licensed trailer coach park as provided in the Zoning Regulations of
Howard County
and OR by special TRAILER permit issued by the
Zoning Commissioner.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 455
(House Bill 428)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 9 (31)
of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supple-
ment), title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall Be Taxed
and Where," providing a tax exemption from State, county and city
taxation for the old Lloyd Street Synagogue property in Baltimore
City.

Section 1. Be it enacted by. the General Assembly of Maryland,
(31) Property, real and personal, owned by the Historical Society
THAT SECTION 9 (31) OF ARTICLE 81 OF THE ANNOTATED
CODE OF MARYLAND (1962 Supplement), title "Revenue and
Taxes," subtitle "What Shall Be Taxed and Where," be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
