(K). THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WICOMICO COUN-
TY MAY APPOINT A LICENSE INSPECTOR FOR WICOMICO
COUNTY, WHOSE HOURS, COMPENSATION, AND WORKING
CONDITIONS SHALL BE AS PRESCRIBED BY THE COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS FROM TIME TO TIME. HIS DUTIES SHALL
INCLUDE THE INVESTIGATION OF AND REPORTING ON
APPLICATIONS FOR NEW OR TRANSFERRED LICENSES FOR
SELLING OR DISPENSING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, THE
ENFORCEMENT OF THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES LAWS AP-
PLICABLE IN THE COUNTY AND THE REPORTING OF SUCH
INVESTIGATIONS OF ALL VIOLATIONS THEREUNDER TO
THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUN-
TY; AND SUCH OTHER DUTIES AS MAY BE ASSIGNED TO
HIM BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FROM TIME TO
TIME. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THESE DUTIES HE HAS ALL
THE POWERS AS A PEACE OFFICER HELD BY A CONSTABLE
OR THE SHERIFF OF WICOMICO COUNTY.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

(House Bill 405)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 175 (a)
and (c) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition and 1962 Supplement), title "Natural Resources," subtitle
"Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish," subheading "Fur Bearers,"
relating to fur bearing animals in the State, changing the season
for hunting and possession of mink and muskrats and providing
for the manner of hunting beaver.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 175(a) and (c) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1962 Supplement), title "Natural
Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish," sub-
heading "Fur Bearers," be and they are hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
175.
(a) No person may hunt any mink, muskrat or otter or have the
meat or pelt of any mink, muskrat or otter in his possession whether
same are trapped, caught, or killed within the State of Maryland or
any other state, territory, or country, except between January 1 and
March 15, inclusive, provided, however, that any person may have
green mink, muskrat or otter skins in his possession until March 25
for purposes of curing such skins. Provided, however, that in Fred-
erick, Garrett, Allegany, Montgomery, Carroll, Howard and Wash-
ington counties, mink and muskrats may be hunted and caught be-
tween [December 15 of any year and March 1] November 15 of any
