safety; [and] (c) that said pharmacy will be constantly under the
personal and immediate supervision of a registered pharmacist, a
permit shall be issued to such persons, co-partnerships, associations
or corporations as the said Maryland Board of Pharmacy shall deem
qualified to conduct such pharmacy [.]; (d) that the said pharmacy
shall not engage in a restricted, limited, partial or closed door service
or operation to the public or to any group of persons but must be
available to the entire public, provided however, this provision shall
not apply to a hospital pharmacy; (e) that said pharmacy shall offer
complete pharmaceutical service by compounding or dispensing all
prescriptions which may reasonably be expected to be compounded or
dispensed by the pharmacist; (f) the said pharmacy shall not offer
professional services under terms and conditions which tend to inter-
fere with or impair the free and complete exercise of professional
judgment skill or enter into any agreement which denies the patient
the right of free choice of pharmacists; and (g) that said pharmacy
shall not violate any of the provisions of Section 266A (c) (4) of this
Article.

If an application shall be refused, the said Maryland Board of
Pharmacy shall notify the applicant in writing of its decision and the
reasons therefor.

Permits issued under the provisions of this section shall be exposed
in a conspicuous place in the pharmacy for which issued. Such per-
mits shall not be transferable; shall expire on the last day of Decem-
ber following the date of issue, and shall be renewed annually.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 392
(House Bill 387)

AN ACT to add new Section 45 23 (k) to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Wicomico County (1959 Edition, being Article 23 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Wicomico County," sub-
title "County Commissioners," to follow immediately after Section
45 23 (j) thereof, to authorize the County Commissioners of
Wicomico County to appoint a license inspector, and to fix DESIG-
NATE his compensation, POWERS and duties.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 45 23 (k) be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Wicomico County (1959 Edition, being Article
23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Wicomico
County," subtitle "County Commissioners," to follow immediately
after Section 45 23 (j) thereof, and to read as follows:

15.

(k) To provide for the appointment of a license inspector for
Wicomico County, whose hours, compensation and duties shall be
prescribed by the County Commissioners of the County.
