change and Promissory Notes," be and it is hereby repealed and that
said sub-title be and it is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 606, 607 and 608 of the Public Local
Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore City", sub-
title "Hours of Labor", repealing certain obsolete and inapplicable
sections of the Public Local Laws of Baltimore City relating to
the hours of labor of employees of street railway companies.
Whereas, Sections 606, 607 and 608 in the 1949 Edition of the
Local Laws of Baltimore City concern the hours of labor of street
railway companies; and
Whereas, It is generally agreed that these sections are obsolete
and have no further application; and
Whereas, For this reason the sections should be repealed in order
that they will no longer be part of the Public Local Laws of the City,
particularly in view of the pending publication of a new Code of
Public Local Laws for Baltimore City; now, therefore,
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 606, 607 and 608 of the Public Local Laws of Balti-
more City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Hours of
Labor", be and they are hereby repealed.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 123 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Elections", sub-title "Voting Machines", adding a deputy to
the staff of the custodian of voting machines in Baltimore County
and providing that the Custodian and one deputy shall be members
of the same political party as the Governor, incumbent at the time
