public place or on any public highway. The word "minor" shall
apply to every person under twenty-one years of age. It shall be
unlawful LAWFUL for any bona fide employee to have alcoholic bev-
erages in his possession in the course of his employment where the
employment is not prohibited by this article. Any person violating
the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to a fine not exceeding fifty
dollars for each and every violation.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 334
(Senate Bill 615)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 11
(3)(e)(5) of Article 73B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition and 1962 Cumulative Supplement), title "Pensions",
to provide that any member of the Employees' Retirement System
of the State of Maryland may withdraw his additional voluntary
contributions, with interest, even though said contributions were
made on or after July 1, 1962, provided that refund is requested
within one year after July 1, 1963.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 11 (3) (e)(5) of Article 73B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition and 1962 Cumulative Supplement), title
"Pensions", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
11(3)(e)(5) Any member of the System who made additional
voluntary contributions under § 14 (1)(e) of this article [prior to
July 1, 1962,] may withdraw the additional amount of contributions
with interest, provided that refund is requested within one year after
July 1, 196[2] 3.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1963.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 9 (a) of
Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supple-
ment), title "Natural Resources", sub-title "In General", subhead-
ing "Department of Tidewater Fisheries", to change the Merit Sys-
tem status of the Director of the Department of Tidewater Fish-
eries.
