Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Caroline County", sub-title "County Treasurer", to follow immedi-
ately after Section 122A thereof, which was added by Chapter 763
of the Acts of 1953, and to read as follows:
122B. (a) All persons, firms or corporations before erecting or
constructing any new building or buildings or any addition or altera-
tion to any existing building in Caroline County the total expense of
said construction or alteration being Five Hundred dollars or more,
shall be required to notify the Supervisor of Assessments of Caroline
County, in writing, of the intention to erect, construct or alter such
building or buildings and shall state the location of the building or
buildings and the approximate amount of money to be expended on
the said erection, construction or alteration.
(b) Upon the receipt of said notice, the Supervisor of Assessments
of Caroline County shall acknowledge the receipt of the same in
writing on such form or forms as may be suitable therefor. No fee
shall be charged therefor.
(c) Any person, firm or corporation failing to comply with the
provisions of this section shall be liable for double taxation upon a
reasonable assessment of the erection, construction, addition or
alteration so made for a period not to exceed three years.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to add new Section 216B to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Harford County (1957 Edition, being Article 13 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Harford County", sub-title
"County Commissioners", to follow immediately after Section
216A thereof, as enacted by Chapters 58 and 220, Acts of 1959, and
Chapters 119 and 120, Acts of 1961, relating to a Citizens Nursing
Home Board of Harford County, enabling the Harford County
Commissioners to establish such a Board, providing for its mem-
bership, tenure, powers, and duties, and authorizing the County
Commissioners to supply funds for capital expenditures and oper-
ating costs.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 216B be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Harford County (1957 Edition, being Article
13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Harford
County", sub-title "County Commissioners", to follow immediately
after Section 216A thereof, as enacted by Chapters 58 and 220, Acts
of 1959, and Chapters 119 and 120, Acts of 1961, and to read as
follows:
216B. The Board of County Commissioners of Harford County
is hereby authorized to establish a Citizens Nursing Home Board of
