CHAPTER 22
(Senate Bill 50)
AN ACT to repeal Section 107 of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert County", sub-title
"Crier", and to repeal said sub-title, repealing an obsolete local law
of Calvert County relating to the compensation of the crier for the
Circuit Court for Calvert County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 107 of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert County", sub-title "Crier",
be and it is hereby repealed, and that said sub-title be and it is hereby
repealed, all reading as follows:
[Crier]
[107. The County Commissioners are authorized and directed to
levy annually for the use of the Crier of the Circuit Court, on the
assessable property in the county, one hundred dollars, which shall
be in lieu of all other allowance or compensation whatever, and the
same shall be collected and paid over as other public charges are
collected and paid in the said county.]
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

(Senate Bill 51)
AN ACT to repeal Section 108 of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert County", sub-title
"Cruelty to Animals", and to repeal said sub-title, repealing an
obsolete local law of Calvert County relating to the offense of
cruelty to animals.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 108 of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert County", sub-title "Cruelty
to Animals", and that said sub-title be and they are hereby repealed,
reading as follows:
[CRUELTY TO ANIMALS]
[108. The provisions of Sections 241 to 245, of Article 4, of the
Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore", relating to "Cruelty to
Animals", shall apply to Calvert County as fully as if repeated in this
Article.]
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.
