the provision of law making the Anne Arundel County Board
of Zoning Appeals final authority in certain matters of conflict
with other county licensing boards.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 22 (b) of Article 66B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition and 1962 Supplement), title "Zoning and
Planning," subtitle "Planning," subheading "Title 2. Zoning," be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
22.
(b) The board of appeals shall consist of three members. The
term of office of the members of the board shall be three years.
They shall be appointed by the mayor, confirmed by the council,
and removable for cause, upon written charges, and after public
hearing. Vacancies shall be filled for the unexpired terms of any
member whose term becomes vacant. Provided, however, that in
Anne Arundel County said board shall consist of five members for
terms of five years [and shall be considered as the final authority
in matters of conflict with other license boards of the county in
matters relating to construction, zoning, measured distance, loca-
tions and other matters generally related thereto].
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

(House Bill 221)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 295 (a),
(b) and (c) of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962
Supplement), title "Public Education," subtitle "Chapter 30. Voca-
tional Rehabilitation," to authorize reimbursement of members of
the Injured Workers' Rehabilitation Committee for certain ex-
penses, and to establish a section of rehabilitation within the Work-
men's Compensation Commission and to provide for its powers and
duties and payment of its expenses; and correcting an error in this
section.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 295 (a), (b) and (c) of Article 77 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1962 Supplement), title "Public Education," sub-
title "Chapter 30. Vocational Rehabilitation," be and they are hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(a) The State Board of Education and the Workmen's Compensa-
tion Commission are hereby empowered and directed to cooperate
