Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 155
(Senate Bill 201)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 151 (b),
151 (c), 172 and 173 (a) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources", sub-title
"Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish", sub-headings "Waterfowl
and Migratory Birds" and "Susquehanna Flats", providing for the
licensing of sneak boats, and collection of a fee for such license,
in Worcester County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 151(b), 151(c), 172 and 173(a) of Article 66C of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Natural Re-
sources", sub-title "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish", sub-head-
ings "Waterfowl and Migratory Birds" and "Susquehanna Flats", be
and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

151.

(b)  The clerks of the circuit courts of Allegany, Frederick, Carroll,
Montgomery, [and] Washington and Worcester counties, upon the
application of any resident of Allegany, Carroll, Frederick, Mont-
gomery [and] , Washington and Worcester counties, being the owner
of any skiff or rowboat as herein allowed to be used in hunting of
wild waterfowl on the waters of the Monocacy and Potomac rivers
in Frederick County and on the waters of the Monocacy River in
Carroll County and on the waters of the Potomac River in Allegany,
Montgomery and Washington counties [,] and on the waters of
Chincoteague Bay, Sinepuxent Bay, Isle of Wight, Assawoman Bay
and their respective tributaries in Worcester County,
shall issue to
said applicants a license under the seal of his court to gun for and
shoot at wild waterfowl from such boat, the cost of which shall be
five dollars ($5.00) for each and every boat, and in addition to the
moneys received from licenses aforesaid the clerk of the court shall
collect and retain in lieu of all compensation the sum of fifty cents
(50¢) for issuing said license. Every licensee shall be required to
paint his name and license number on some prominent part of said
skiff or rowboat in large legible letters and numbers to correspond
with said name and number of license issued to him. Said license shall
only be valid during the current open season provided by law for
hunting of wild waterfowl in this State.

(c)  The clerks of the circuit courts of Allegany, Carroll, Frederick,
Montgomery, Washington, Harford [and] , Cecil and Worcester
counties on the first day of July, 1943, and on the first day of each
and every month thereafter transmit to the Game and Inland Fish
Commission of the State all moneys received by them for the issuance
of the aforesaid licenses and such funds shall be accounted for by
the said Commission to the Comptroller of the State. All moneys so
received the Comptroller shall be placed to the credit of the State
Game Protection Fund, and said clerks shall report to the Director
