99. It shall be the duty of [said collectors] the Tax Collector
to enforce the payment of all taxes remaining unpaid on the first day
of January in the year following the levy thereof, at any time after
said first day of January succeeding the levy; and they shall pro-
ceed to seize, levy upon and sell the property of such delinquent or so
much thereof as may be necessary to pay all said taxes, both State
and county, with interest and costs thereon.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 151
(Senate Bill 342)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 282 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany County (1955 Edition,
being Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Allegany County", sub-title "Justices of the Peace", correct-
ing an error in the law relating to suits or actions before Justices
of the Peace in Allegany County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 282 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany
County (1955 Edition, being Article 1 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Allegany County", sub-title "Justices of
the Peace", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

282. In any suit or action before a justice of the peace in Alle-
gany County, where the plaintiff is not a resident of the State of
Maryland, the justice of the peace shall, upon motion of the de-
fendant, require the plaintiff to give security for the payment of the
costs and charges, which may be recovered against him in such
action; when such security is required, in any case, the plaintiff shall
be entitled to a continuance for not less than six nor more than
fourteen days, and if the security required be not then given he shall
be nonsuited.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 266 and
273 of the Charter of the City of Frostburg (being in the Code of
