is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

3. All Acts and parts of Acts, whether Public General or Public
Local, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be and the same
are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency; but all laws
repealed by this sub-title shall nevertheless remain in force in respect
to any and all tax sales made or instituted prior to the effective date
of this Act. Any and all tax sales made or instituted after the effec-
tive date of this Act shall be made only in accordance with the pro-
visions hereof; provided that this Act shall not refer to Allegany
County, Somerset County and Harford County nor affect the provi-
sions of Articles 1, 13 and 20 respectively, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland.

[There may also be paid to the attorney representing the county
treasurer for Worcester County, a fee for services in connection
with said sale, up to thirty-five dollars ($35), to be approved by the
County Treasurer and County Commissioners of Worcester County,
for each property, and all expenses of conducting the sale shall be
liens on the property to be sold.]

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 76(g) of Article
81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supplement), title
"Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "Tax Sales", sub-heading "In Gen-
eral", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

76. (g) The following expenses relating to the sale shall be
allowed, all of which shall be liens on the property to be sold:

(i) The expense of publication of all notices.

(ii) The cost of the county or city surveyor's description and plat,
if necessary.

(iii) A fee to the attorney representing the county treasurer for
services, not exceeding fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each property;
except that in Baltimore City or any county which has a paid full-
time solicitor, counsel or attorney, this fee shall be collected and paid
into the general funds of the city or county.

(iv) The auctioneer's fee, which in no case shall exceed ten dol-
lars ($10.00) for any day when one, two or three properties are
sold; and for any day when four or more properties are sold the fee
shall be three dollars ($3.00) for each property sold.

(v) In Baltimore and Cecil counties, where provision has been
made for the posting of the premises to be sold, a sum not in excess
of seven dollars and fifty cents ($7.50).

(vi) In Worcester County a fee to the attorney representing the
County Treasurer, up to thirty-five dollars ($35) for each property,
to be approved by the County Treasurer and by the Board of County
Commissioners.

Sec. 2. SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1963.
