the powers necessary for it to comply with the provisions relating
to the sole State agency representing the State of Maryland for the
purposes stated in Part C of said Public Law 725 and all amend-
ments thereof and additions thereto, and contained in any part of
said Title VI of Public Law 725, and all amendments thereof and
additions thereto.

(b) The Board of County Commissioners of Somerset County may
SHALL cooperate within the terms of this section and sub-title for
the construction of a nursing home hospital and related facilities by
contributions up to one-third of the cost of this nursing home hos-
pital and facilities. The nursing home hospital so constructed shall
be provided in the Town of Crisfield as a forty-bed nursing home
hospital adjoining McCready Hospital in that town, to be
KNOWN
AS THE ALICE BYRD TAWES NURSING HOME AND TO BE
on the same grounds as McCready Hospital, and to have a corridor
connection therewith. For this purpose the County Commissioners of
Somerset County
may SHALL levy or appropriate from the general
funds of the County
UP TO A MAXIMUM OF $65,000 OVER A
FOUR-YEAR PERIOD FROM JUNE 1, 1963; or they may (within
the limits of any restriction upon their borrowing power) secure the
necessary monies or any portion thereof
PAYMENT OF THIS SUM
by the issue of bonds or other certificates of indebtedness, pledging
the full faith and credit of the County to the payment of interest
and principal thereon.
ANY GIFTS OR CONTRIBUTIONS RE-
CEIVED FROM ANY SOURCE WHATSOEVER FOR THE
NURSING HOME BUILDING SHALL BE PAID OVER TO THE
COUNTY IN REIMBURSEMENT FOR ITS PAYMENTS HERE-
UNDER. For the purposes of this sub-section the State Board of
Health as the sole agency to represent the State shall represent and
cooperate with the Board of County Commissioners of Somerset
County.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 143
(Senate Bill 2)

AN ACT to renumber and recodify Sections 87 through 100, in-
clusive; 101 through 106, inclusive; and 334 through 345, in-
clusive of Article 48A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition and 1962 Supplement), title "Insurance," subtitles,
respectively, "Fire Investigation Bureau," "Fireworks," and
"Explosives," said sections hereafter to be numbered respectively
as Sections 1 through 32, inclusive, of a new Article 38A of said
Code, to follow immediately after Article 38 thereof, and to be
entitled "Fires and Investigations"; new Sections 1 through 14,
inclusive, to be under the new subtitle "Fire Investigation Bureau";
new Sections 15 through 20, inclusive, to be under the new sub-
title "Fireworks"; and new Sections 21 through 32, inclusive, to
be under the new subtitle "Explosives"; recodifying and changing
the Code references to the Fire Investigation Bureau, to pro-
visions regulating fireworks and explosives now found in Article
