Center. All property, buildings, furniture and fixtures, records,
appropriations, assets, credits and obligations of the Southern
Maryland Children's Center are, as of the effective date of this
Act, the property, buildings, furniture and fixtures, records, appro-
priations, assets, credits and obligations of the Thomas J. S. Waxter
Children's Center. All references to the Southern Maryland Chil-
dren's Center in the laws, ordinances, resolutions, and regulations
of this state and of its political subdivisions and of any agency of
the state or a political sub-division, as of the effective date of this
Act are references to the Thomas J. S. Waxter Children's Center.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 132
(House Bill 238)
AN ACT to add Subsection (d-1) to Section 269 of Article 66C of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Natural
Resources," subtitle "Fish and Fisheries," subheading "Further
Regulations in County Waters"; restricting fishing in Bodkin Creek
and tributaries in Anne Arundel County to certain methods of fish-
ing at certain times.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Subsection (d-1) be and it is hereby added to Section 269 of
Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Fish and Fisheries," subheading
"Further Regulations in County Waters"; to read as follows
269.
(d-1) Fishing with nets of any description, or any other con-
trivance, except with rod, hook and line, is prohibited in the waters
of the Bodkin Creek and tributaries lying westerly and inside
of a line drawn 340 degrees true from extreme end of Cedar Point to
Old Landen Point, referring to Coast & Geodetic Survey Chart No.
549, 15th Edition, dated December 15,1944,, and corrected to April 22,
1957, provided, however, that in the waters of said Bodkin Creek
and its tributaries, it shall be lawful to use eel pots or minnow traps
not to exceed 30 inches in length, 11 inches in width and 11 inches
in height and except during the months of February, March and
April, to use "D" bow frame nets with handle attached not to ex-
ceed 36 inches in width or 36 inches in height, but said "D" bow
frame nets shall not be used as stationary or set nets.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.
