CHAPTER 112

(House Bill 86)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 5(K) of
Chapter 128 of the Acts of 1962, said Chapter being the General
Construction Loan of 1962 and being amended in order to make a
change in the use of monies therein appropriated to St. Mary's
Seminary Junior College to permit the acquisition of land adjacent
to the south campus for college expansion and to permit site de-
velopment of this land and construction of a dormitory thereon;
and amending Section 9 of Chapter 128 to the extent necessary to
renew the provisions of said Section 9 for a period of two years
from the effective date of this Act with respect to the changes
herein made for St. Mary's Seminary Junior College.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 5(K) of Chapter 128 of the Acts of 1962, be and is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 9 of Chapter 128
of the Acts of 1962 is amended to the extent necessary to renew the
provisions thereof for a period of two years from the effective date
of this Act with respect to the changes herein made for St. Mary's
Seminary Junior College.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.
