twenty-five dollars ($25) and not more than five hundred dollars
($500).

(b) For the purpose of enforcing the provisions of this section,
with the approval of the County Commissioners, the sheriff of Dor-
chester County shall appoint one or more deputies at the salaries
approved by the County Commissioners. Notwithstanding any other
provisions of law to the contrary, all fines collected for violations of
this section shall be paid over to the County Commissioners who
shall use said funds solely for the purpose of paying
TO HELP
PAY the salaries of the deputies appointed herein.

72. (A) IT IS UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON TO ENTER
OR TRESPASS UPON THE PROPERTY OF ANOTHER FOR
THE PURPOSE OF HUNTING DEER THEREON DURING THE
SEASON FOR HUNTING DEER WITH GUN OR RIFLE IN
TALBOT COUNTY, UNLESS SUCH PERSON SHALL HAVE
FIRST SECURED FROM THE OWNER OR PERSON IN POS-
SESSION OF THE PROPERTY WRITTEN PERMISSION TO
HUNT THEREON. ANY PERSON HUNTING UPON THE PROP-
ERTY OF ANOTHER SHALL EXHIBIT HIS WRITTEN PER-
MISSION TO HUNT THEREON UPON THE REQUEST OF THE
SHERIFF OR ANY DEPUTY OR THE OWNER OR PERSON
IN POSSESSION. THE SHERIFF, OR ANY DEPUTY SHERIFF
SHALL UPON THE REQUEST OF THE OWNER OR PERSON
IN POSSESSION OF ANY PROPERTY ON WHICH THERE IS
HUNTING OF DEER ARREST ANY PERSON THEREON WITH-
OUT THE WRITTEN PERMISSION OF THE OWNER OR PER-
SON IN POSSESSION. VIOLATION OF THIS SECTION IS PUN-
ISHABLE UPON CONVICTION BY A FINE OF NOT LESS
THAN TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($25) AND NOT MORE THAN
FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500).

(B) FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENFORCING THE PROVI-
SIONS OF THIS SECTION, WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, THE SHERIFF OF TALBOT
COUNTY SHALL APPOINT ONE OR MORE DEPUTIES AT THE
SALARIES APPROVED BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.
NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISIONS OF LAW TO
THE CONTRARY, ALL FINES COLLECTED FOR VIOLA-
TIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL BE PAID OVER TO THE
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WHO SHALL USE SAID FUNDS
TO HELP PAY THE SALARIES OF THE DEPUTIES AP-
POINTED HEREIN.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.
