Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the areas AREA herein described is hereby added to the Wash-
ington Suburban Sanitary District created by Chapter 122 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1918:

All that area in the Brandywine, Melwood and Surratt's Elec-
tion Districts of Prince George's County, Maryland, lying within the

ALL THAT AREA IN THE BRANDYWINE, MELWOOD,
SPAULDING'S, SURRATT'S, NOTTINGHAM, MARLBORO,
QUEEN ANNE, LANHAM AND KENT ELECTION DISTRICTS
OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MARYLAND, LYING WITH-
IN THE following described boundaries:

Beginning for the same at a point on the existing boundary of the
Washington Suburban Sanitary District, said point being in Matta-
woman Creek, the Boundary between Prince George's and Charles
Counties and 200 feet east of the east side of Crain Highway, U. S.
Route 301, and running thence in an easterly direction with Matta-
woman Creek and the Boundary between Prince George's and Charles
Counties to the centerline of the Popes Creek Branch of the Pennsyl-
vania Railroad, thence in a northeasterly direction with the centerline
of the Popes Creek Branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad to a point
south of, at right angles to and 300 feet distant from the south line
of the Brandywine Road, Md. Route 381, thence in an easterly direc-
tion, south of, parallel to and 300 feet distant from the south line
of the Brandywine Road, Md. Route 381 to a point east of, at right
angles to and 300 feet distant from the southeasterly extension of
the northeast line of the Old Indian Head Road, and running thence
in a northwesterly direction, northeast of, parallel to and 300 feet
distant from the northeast line of the Old Indian Head Road to the
centerline of the Popes Creek Branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad,
thence in a northeasterly direction with the centerline of the Popes
Creek Branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad to a point north of, at
right angles to and 300 feet distant from the northeast side of Cross
Road, thence in a northwesterly direction, northeast of, parallel to
and 300 feet distant from the northeast side of Cross Road to a point
southeast of, at right angles to and 300 feet distant from the south-
east right of way line of Crain Highway, U. S. Route 301, thence in
a northeasterly direction, southeast of, parallel to and 300 feet distant
from the southeast right of way line of Crain Highway, U. S. Route
301, to a point northeast of, at right angles to and 300 feet distant
from the southeasterly extension of the northeast line of the
Rosary-
angles to and 300 feet distant from OSBORNE ROAD, THENCE IN-
A NORTHWESTERLY DIRECTION, NORTHEAST OF, PAR-
ALLEL TO AND 300 FEET DISTANT FROM THE NORTHEAST
LINE OF THE OSBORNE ROAD TO A POINT IN THE CENTER
OF THE MARLBORO ROAD, MD.
ROUTE 4, THENCE IN A
NORTHERLY DIRECTION AT RIGHT ANGLES TO THE MARL-
BORO ROAD TO A POINT, 300
FEET NORTH OF the north line
of the Marlboro Road, Md. Route 4, thence in a northwesterly direc-
tion, northeast of, parallel to a 300 fet distant from the
northeast
line of the Marlboro Road, Md. Route 4, to a point on the existing
boundary of the Washington Suburban Sanitary District, thence in

a generally southwesterly and southerly direction with and along the
existing boundary of the Washington Suburban Sanitary District
to the point of beginning.
