Public Local Laws of Charles County (1959 Edition, being Article 9
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles Coun-
ty," subtitle "Hucksters," to follow immediately after Section 127
thereof, and to read as follows:
127A.
(a) No person shall sell, or solicit orders for sale of, any mer-
chandise of any description, including books or periodicals, from
door-to-door of private residences, without a license. Provided, how-
ever, that this section shall not apply to farmers or growers selling
their own vegetables or other perishable farm produce or products
or to any person regularly attending school who is under the age of
eighteen (18) years or to vendors of milk or cream, bread, meat, fuels
of petroleum products, cosmetics, fish or other seafood, or newspapers.
It shall be the duty of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Charles County
to issue huckster licenses to such persons as may apply for and be
entitled to same according to the provisions of this section and the
amount so received shall be paid to the County Commissioners of
Charles County and be credited to the general funds of the County.
(b) Each applicant for such license shall pay annually a licensing
fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) or Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00)
for a one-day license for the day designated. Such license upon
issuance shall not be transferable. The application for such license
shall contain the following information concerning the applicant:
Name; address; name and address of employer, if not self-employed;
age; color of skin; color of eyes; color of hair; height; weight; and,
general description of type of merchandise to be sold.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, and to add a new
paragraph (d) to subsection 5 of Section 19 of Article 56 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1962 Supplement),
title "Licenses," subtitle "Pinball Machines and Console Machines,"
relating TO REGULATION OF AND to license fees in Mont-
gomery County on free play pinball and free play console machines.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That subsection 5 of Section 19 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1962 Supplement), title "Licenses,"
subtitle "Pinball Machines and Console Machines," be repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, and that a new paragraph (d) be and
it is hereby added thereto to follow immediately after paragraph (c),
and all to read as follows:
