said attorney for the board shall receive no other compensation or
fees for the performance of his duties or for services performed for
or on behalf of the board including representing the board in any
appeal from rulings of the board, and the said board shall be author-
ized to appoint a secretary to the clerk to the board who shall receive
an annual salary of six hundred dollars ($600.00) and to expend
such additional sum or sums as may be necessary, not exceeding
two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) per annum, to cover printing
and other expenses.

(K) THE INSPECTORS APPOINTED FOR PRINCE
GEORGE'S COUNTY SHALL EACH HAVE ALL THE POWERS
OF A PEACE OFFICER OR A CONSTABLE OR SHERIFF OF
THE STATE OF MARYLAND, AND SHALL MAKE OATH TO
FAITHFULLY PERFORM THE DUTIES ENTRUSTED TO
THEM, AS PROVIDED IN ARTICLE 1, SECTION 6 OF THE CON-
STITUTION OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND, AND THEY
SHALL FURNISH BOND IN THE PENALTY OF $2,000.00 TO THE
BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS OF PRINCE GEORGE'S
COUNTY AND THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY JOINTLY, CONDITIONED THAT
THEY SHALL WELL AND FAITHFULLY EXECUTE THEIR
OFFICE IN ALL THINGS APPERTAINING THERETO. THE
COST OF SAID BOND SHALL BE PAID BY THE COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY. THE INSPEC-
TORS OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY SHALL BE KNOWN AS
"ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE INSPECTORS FOR PRINCE
GEORGE'S COUNTY." THE INSPECTORS SHALL HAVE THE
DUTY OF VISITING AND INSPECTING EVERY LICENSED
PREMISES IN PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY PERIODICALLY
AND CARRYING ON SUCH OTHER DUTIES AS THE BOARD
OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COUN-
TY MIGHT PRESCRIBE.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 672
(House Bill 354)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 3 (u) and
5 (f) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edi-
tion), title "Elections," subtitle "Supervisors of Elections and Em-
ployees," to increase the compensation of the members of the Board
of Supervisors of Elections of Somerset County and of the clerk
to the Board of Supervisors of Elections of the county.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
