being surveyed. A natural oyster or natural clam bar shall be con-
strued to mean and include all oyster or clam beds or bars under any
of the waters of this State whereon there are oysters or clams to be
found naturally and in sufficiently large quantities in such beds or
bars to enable the public to use such bars or beds for a livelihood.
Within ninety days after such resurvey, a copy of such amended
charts or new charts shall be deposited in the Department of Tide-
water Fisheries and another copy sent to the clerk of the circuit court
in which or nearest to which the area resurveyed is located.

NO EXISTING LEASE SHALL BE INVALIDATED IN WHOLE
OR IN PART BY FACTS DETERMINED AS A RESULT OF
SUCH SURVEY OR RESURVEY UNLESS THE LESSEE SHALL
FORFEIT HIS LEASE VOLUNTARILY OR BY NON-PAYMENT
OF RENTAL OR OTHER FEES. NO AREA DEFINED BY THE
CHARTS OR AMENDED CHARTS OF THE OYSTER SURVEY
OF 1906-1912 ON FILE IN THE OFFICES OF THE DEPART-
MENT OF TIDEWATER FISHERIES OR ANY SUBSEQUENT
CHARTS OR RESURVEYS AS A NATURAL OYSTER BAR,
CLAM BED, OR CRAB BED SHALL BE SUBJECT TO RE-
CLASSIFICATION AS BARREN BOTTOM ON THE BASIS OF
FACTS DETERMINED AS A RESULT OF SUCH SURVEY OR
RESURVEY.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 639
(House Bill 828)

AN ACT to add new Section 3(h) to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1962 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages,"
subtitle "Prohibition—Without License or Permit—Exception," to
follow immediately after Section 3(g) thereof, deleting require-
ment for importer's permit for alcoholic beverages where such
beverages are imported solely for subsequent shipment outside the
State of Maryland.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 3(h) be and it is hereby added to Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supplement), title "Alcoholic
Beverages," subtitle "Prohibition—Without License or Permit—
Exception," to follow immediately after Section 3 (g) thereof, and
to read as follows:

(h) No import-export permit shall be required of any importer
importing into this State alcoholic beverages for storage in public
warehouses for subsequent shipment outside the State of Maryland
and not for sale, consignment, or delivery to any person within the
State, where the storage is in public bonded warehouses and is under
customs bond.
