(House Bill 671)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 326 (h)
of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supple-
ment) , title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "Retail Sales Tax Act,"
amending the Retail Sales Tax Act in order to exempt therefrom
sales of bedding or litter for poultry and livestock production and
herbicides.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 326 (h) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1962 Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "Retail Sales
Tax Act," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

326.

(h) Sales of the following items for agricultural purposes: Live-
stock, poultry, seeds, feed for livestock and poultry, bedding or litter
for poultry and livestock production, fertilizers, lime and land plaster,
fungicides, herbicides and insecticides; and the products of the farm,
dairy, grove or garden, except those products which are usually sold
by nurseries and horticulturists, including, but not limited to, flowers,
sod, decorative trees and shrubs.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

Article 66B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Zoning and Planning," subtitle "Planning," subheading
"Title 1—Municipal Planning and Zoning Commission," limiting
the powers of the planning and zoning commission in Allegany
County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
