Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Board of County-
Commissioners of Prince George's County is authorized and directed
to make an appropriation to provide for the publication of the Code,
and the Board is further authorized to provide for the sale and dis-
tribution of the Code.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 326 (i)
of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supple-
ment), title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "Retail Sales Tax
Act", sub-heading "In General", amending the sales tax law to
eliminate the exemption for sales to nonprofit scientific, literary
institutions or organizations.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 326 (i) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1962 Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "Retail
Sales Tax Act", sub-heading "In General", be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
326. (i) Sales to nonprofit, charitable, etc., organizations.—Sales
to any person operating a nonprofit religious, charitable, [scientific,
literary] or educational institution or organization situated in this
State when such tangible personal property is purchased for use in
carrying on the work of such institution or organization; provided
that the word "person", as used in this sub-section shall not include
the United States of America or any agency or instrumentality
thereof.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to repeal Section 184 of Article 18 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's
County", sub-title "County Commissioners", as said Section 184
was last amended by Chapter 160 of the Acts of 1957, and to enact
new Section 184 in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the section
repealed, to change the compensation and expenses of the County
Commissioners of Queen Anne's County.
