OR PROVISION CONCERNING PERMITS TO LOCATE A
TRAILER, HOUSE TRAILER, TRAILER COACH OR MOBILE
HOME.

(c)
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9(32) of this Article,
those forms of housing commonly known as "trailers", "house
trailers", "trailer coaches", or "mobile homes" (1) which are or can
be used for residential purposes and (2) which are either permanent-
ly attached to the land or connected to water, gas, electric, or sewage
facilities shall be valued and assessed in the same manner and to the
same extent as other improvements to land are valued and assessed
for ordinary tax purposes. Nothing in this sub-section shall be con-
strued to require the valuation and assessment of any "trailer",
"house trailer", "trailer coach", or "mobile home" (1) which is un-
occupied and for sale or (2) which, for the payment of a sum is
temporarily located in a trailer park or mobile home court.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts of laws
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are repealed to the extent
of any such inconsistency.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to legalize the 1963 Edition of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Prince George's County, being Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, published under the direction of
the Board of County Commissioners of Prince George's County
and edited by Carl N. Everstine, and making provision for the
publication, sale and distribution of this Code.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the 1963 Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County, being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, published under the direction of the Board of County
Commissioners of Prince George's County and edited by Carl N.
Everstine, is legalized. The Code shall contain all public local laws
relating to Prince George's County following the 1963 regular ses-
sion of the General Assembly of Maryland, and it shall contain the
charters of the several municipal corporations within Prince George's
County as in effect on June 1, 1963. The Code shall be deemed and
taken in all the courts of the State, by all justices of the peace and
trial magistrates of the State, and by all other public officials of the
State and of its several political subdivisions, to be evidence of the
public local laws of Prince George's County in effect at the time of
compilation.
