(45) 69 Delivering hereof the Receipt whereof the said Robert doth
and Parcell doth Clearely and absolutely acquit, Exonerate
every of them for ever by these prsents, and for other divers good
unto moveing, hath given, granted, Bargained, Sold, Aliened, Enfoeffed
doth give, grant, Bargaine, Sell, aliene, Enfeoffe and Confirme
of Land Commonly known by the name of New Towne formerly laid
on the South Side of Chester River and on the South Side of a Branch
the ffirst Bounded Tree of the said Tract and Running up the
Christopher Spry's Land, Then with the said Land North North West
then East North East One Hundred Pearches Then with a Straight
dred acres prcell of the above mentioned Tract of Land Called
and to hold the aforesaid Tract of Land Together with all the
and all other appurtenances thereunto belonging to the only
assignes forever free and cleare and ffreely and clearely from all
discharged of and from all former Claimes, gifts, grants, sales, Leases,
forth shall grow Due and Payable to the Chiefe Lord and Lords of
Robert Smith doth for himselfe and his Heires Covenant, Grant
-nes
and to and with Every of them by these prsents that the
appurtenances are ffree and clear from all Incumbrances
prsents Bind himselfe his Heires Executrs & admrs to serve and Defend
assignes against all manner of Persons whatsoever will for ever
Claime ffreely and fully Release all the Right, Title, Interest,
of right might or ought by any waies or meanes to have in
Spry his Hieres and assignes forever to his and their only Proper
selfe and his Heires farther Covenant and agree to and with
veyance or Conveyances Requisite in the prmises as he the sd
Learned in the Law shall reasonably devise, advise or require
sett his hand and seale yd Day & year above written
