This Indenture made the Twenty Sixth Day of June In
Grace of God over England Soctland ffrance & Ireland
Talbot County in the Province of Maryland Esqr on the one
Planter on the other Part. Wittnesseth that the said John
Land lyeing on the Bayside in Talbot County aforesaid Commonly
ninety and Three acres be it more or less according to Patten
Jones Late of Talbot County aforesd Deceased and for Divers
thereunto moveing hath given, granted, Bargained, Sold, Alien
Give, Grant, Bargaine, Sell, Aliene, Enfeoffe and Confirm unto
Part of a Certaine Tract or parcell of Land Commonly known
County aforesd on the South:side Chester River and on the
Bounded Poplar being the first Bounded Tree of the said
South Two Hundred Thirty and ffive Pearches and from the
Pearches and from ther End of the East and by South Line North
with the Branch to the ffirst marked Tree Containing Two Hundred
Two Hundred acres of Land Together with all the Rights, Profitts
appurtenances thereunto belonging to the only use and behoofe
ffree and cleare and ffreely and clearely Released Exonerated
Gifts, Grants, Sales, Leases or fforfetures whatsoever the Rents
Due and Payable to the Chiefe Lord or Lords of the ffee or ffees
himselfe and his Heires doth Covenant grant and agree to and
and with Every of them by these prsents that the afore mention[ed]
tenances are free and cleare from all Incumberances what-
Bind himselfe and his Heires to save and Defend and keep
all manner of Persons whatsoever will forever warrant and
Release all the Right, Tittle, Interest, Estate, Claime, and
meanes whatsoever is hereby wholely released and Invested
forever to his and their only Proper use and Behoffe forever
Covenant and agree to and with the sd William harris his
assurance and asurances Conveyance or Conveyances Requi
and assignes or his or their Councell Learned in the Law
hereof the Parties above named in these prsent Indentures
first above Written
