in ye Province afsd are holden and firmly bound
unto our Soveraigne Lady Anne &ca in ye full & just
Quantitie two hundred thousand pounds of good sound
merchantable Leafe tobo & Caske to be paid unto her
said Majestie her heires and successors to ye wch paymt
well & truely to be made we bind our selves & Either
of us and Either of our heires Exrs & admrs joyntly
and severally for ye whole & in ye whole firmly by
these prsents Sealed wth oru seals and Dated ye tenth Day
of May in ye fourth year of her majesties Reign
annoq Dmi 1705
The condition of ye above obligation
is such yt if ye above bounden Edward Scott
Doe well and truely serve her sd Majestie her heirs
and successors in ye office of a high Sherriffe
of ye County of Kent wthin ye Province afsd
allsoe shall rendr unto her sd Majestie & other her
officers a true faithfull and pfect accomptt of all
and singular her sd majesties rights & Dues & to
her officers a true and just accompt of their
fees yt he shall or may be Instructed wth by her
majesties Governr and other her officers wthin
this Province to receive and Collect & his [illegible]
