This indenture made the fourth day of June in the second year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lady Anne Queen of England anno Domi: 1703 Between Mary Saul of St Georges Southwarke Spinster of the one Part, and Elisabeth Cramp of the other p: sh: Widdo mother of the sd Mary of the other Part Wittnesseth that the said Mary Saul hath and by these prsents doth bind and put her selfe and apprentice and Servant to the said Elisabeth Cramp to serve her or her assignes in the Plantation of Maryland, beyond the seas, for the space of ffive years next ensueing the arrival of the said Servant in the said Plantation for, and during the said Terme according to the Laws & Customs of the said Plantation: and doth further declare and Covenant That she the sd Servant at the time of the Ensealing hereof, is of the age of Eighteene years a Single Person, and no Covenant or Contracted Servant to any other Person or Persons; And the said Mistrs Executors and assignes In Consideration thereof, doth hereby Covenant, Promise and agree to and with the said Servant, that she the sd misters or her assignes shall and will at her or their own proper Costs and Charges with what Convenient Speed they may Carry and Convey or cause to be Carried and Convey'd over unto the sd Plantation her said Servant, and from henceforth, and during the said Voyage, and also during the said Term, and at the End thereof, shall and will at the Like Costs and Charges, Provoide for, and allowe her said Servant all necessary Clothes, meate, Drink, Washing, Lodgeing and other necessaries fitt and Convenient for her according to the Custome of the said Plantation, and as other Servants in such Cases are usually provided for and allow'd / In Wittness whereof the said Parties have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written.
