so as afd against him brought nor can he say but that he is guilty of
the premisses afd above upon him Imposed as by the afd Indictment
it is alledged And thereof Submits to the Court &c
Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at Kent
County Court at the Court house in the Town of Chester in said County
on the third tuesday of Novemr. being the fourteenth day of said
month in the year of Our Lord Seventeen hundred thirty & eight
That the afd Robert Jackson pay the sum of three pounds currt.
money of Maryland as a fine for the Assault afd Also it is
Considered by the Justices afd at the time and place afd last
mentioned that the afd Robert Jackson pay the sum of two
hundred and Seven pounds of tobacco Costs Accrueing on the prsses
afd to the Officers of this Court &c
Ordered by this Court here that the fine afd be delivered the
sherr. of Kent County And Simon Wilmer Gent. sher. of Kent
County and present here in Court Acknowledged the recept
of the Same       Ordered by this Court here that the afd Robert
enter into Recognize. with Security for his Appearance & good
behavour to Next March Court &c       Thereupon
Robert Jackson and Wm. Mc.Clean & Robert Roberts of
Kent County Gent. & present here in Court Acknowledgeth
themselves Indebted to his Lordship the right honourable
the Lord Propry of Maryland Robert Jackson in the sum
of ten pounds & Wm. Mc.Clean & Robert Robertson in the sum
of five pounds Currt. money of Maryland each to be made &
Leveyed on their bodys goods & Chattles Lands & Tenements
for the Use of his said Lordship his heirs & Successors With
Condition to this recognize. that Robert Jackson do make
his Personall Appearance before the Justices of Our next
County Court to be held at Our Court house in the Town of Chester
in said County on the third tuesday of March next and in the mean
time to keep the peace & be of good behavour particularly
to Thomas Clay Then this recoge. to be Void Else to remain
in full force Power and Virtue in Law
And now here to wit at Kent County Court at the Court house
in the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of
Novemr. being the fourteenth day of said month in the
year of Our Lord Seventeen hundred thirty and eight Cometh
the afd Robert Jackson in his proper person and
