with Security for his Appearance & good behavour to March Cort
next Especially to George Barger            Thereupon William
Graves, James Thomas & John Howell present here in Court
Acknowledgeth themselves Indebted to his Lordship the right honrble
the Lord propry of Maryld. in the sum Wm. Graves in the sum of twenty
pounds Current money of the province afd and James Thomas & John
Howell in the sum of ten pounds like money each to be made & Leveyed
on their bodys goods & Chattles Lands & Tenements for the use of the sd
Lordship his heirs & Successors With Condition to this recognize that
William Graves do make his personall Appe. before the Justices of
Our next County Court to be held at Our Court house in the Town of Chester
in said County on the third tuesday of March next & in the mean time
to keep the peace & be of good behavour Especially to George Barber
Then this recognizance to be Void Else to remain in full force in Law
Wm. Burk being an Evide. in the afd cause comes into Court in his
proper person and prays that he may be Allowed for the same
And proves two days attendence against the afd William Graves
Ordered by this Court here that William Graves afd pay the afd
Wm. Burk the sum of thirty pounds of tobacco for his Attendence afd
Thomas Smith being Summoned in the afd Cause comes into
Court in his proper person and proves three days Attendance agt.
the afd Wm. Graves and prays that he may be Allowed for the same
Ordered by this Court here that Wm. Graves pay unto the afd Thos.
Smith the sum of ninty pounds of tobacco for his Attendence afd
John Cannaday being Sumd. in the afd Cause Comes into Court
& proves two days Attendence agst. the afd Wm. & prays he may
be Allowed for the same       Ordered by this Court here that Willm.
Graves afd pay unto the afd John Cannaday the sum of sixty pds
of tobacco for his Attendance afd       John Thomas being
Sumd. as an Evide. in the afd Cause Comes into Court in his proper
person and proves two days Attende. against the afd Wm. &
prays he may be alld. for the same Ordered by this Court
here that the afd Wm. pay unto the afd John the sum of Sixty pd[s]
of tobacco for his Attendence as afd &c            And now
here to wit at Kent County Court at the Court house in the Town
of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of Novemr. being
the day & year afd cometh the afd Wm. in his proper person
& prayeth that his and his Suretys recognize taken as
afd for his Appearance to this Court may be discharged
