late of S^t. Pauls parish in the County afd Labourer the tenth day
of Novem^r. in the year of Our Lord seventeen hundred thirty & eight
at the parish afd in the County afd and within the Jurisdiction of this
Court with force & Arms in & upon a certain William Cole in the
peace of God & of the said Lord prop^ry then & there being an Assault
did make and him the same W^m. then & there did beat wound
& evilly treat so that of his life it was greatly dispaired & other
harms to him the said William then & there did to the great da:
