His Lordship	Command was given to the sher. of Kt. Coty
agt	on the 19th day of August in the twenty fourth
Mary Anderson	year of Our Lordships Domn. &a. in the year of

Our Lord seventeen hundred thirty & eight that he should take Mary
Anderson late of Kent Saint pauls parish in the County afd Spinster
if she should be found in his Bailwick & her safe keep so that he
have her body before the Justices of Our next County Court to be
held at Our Court house in the Town of Chester in said County on the
third tuesday of Nov^r next to answer unto a Certain Indictment
for Committing fornication &c And that the said sher. have at the
time & place afd the said Writ afd       And now here to wit at K^t.
County afd at the Court house in the Town of Chester in said County on
the third tuesday of Novem^r. being the fourteenth day of said month
in the year afd last ment^d. Cometh Simon Wilmer Gent. sher. of K^t.
County and makes return thereof to the Court here thereon Indorsed

in the County afd and within the Jurisdiction of this Court did Comm^t.
fornication with a Certain Person to the Jurors afd unknown & did
permit the same unknown person then & there to have carnall
knowledge of her body & to beget then & there a Batard Child on the
body of her the same Mary Anderson to the high displeasure of
Almighty God to the Evil Example of all others in Such case offending
Contrary to the peace of the said Lord prop^ry his good rule & goverm^t
