[8] Benjamin Ayres Zorobabell French & William Burk their Recognizances taken as afd are by this Court here Dischd. there being no Cause shewn to the Contrary
for the afd County Robert Ferrill William Smithers & John Woodall and Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord propry. of Maryland (that is to say) Robert Ferrill in the Sum of twenty pounds Current money of the province afd And William Smithers and John Woodall in the sum of Ten pounds like money each to be made and Leveyed on their bodys goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements for the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors With Condition that the said Robert do make his personall Appearance before the Justices of Our next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chest: in said County on the third tuesday of June Instant then and there to answer unto such things as shall be Objected against him on behalf of his Lordship on Suspition of feloniously takeing Sundry papers out of Wm. Aelands Chest Then their recognizance to be Void Else to remain in full force in Law Jervis Spencer Kent County fst Be it remembered that on the third day of June Anno Dom. 1738 personally Appeared William Aeland before me the Subscriber One |
