William Burk and Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Right Honourable the Lord propry. of Maryd. (that is to say) Benjamini Ayres in the sum of forty pounds Current money of the province afd And Zorobabell French & William Burk in the sum of Ten pounds like money each to be made and Leveyed on their bodys goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements for the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors With Condition to this Recognizance that if he the said Benjamin do make he personall Appearance before the Justices of our next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of June next to testifie in behalf of his Lordship against the afd John Rason on Suspition of Felony Then this Recognizance to be Void Else to Remain in full force in Law Jervis Spencer And now here to wit at Kent County afd at the Court house in the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of June being the twentieth day of said month in the year of our Lord seventeen hundred thirty & Eight cometh Benjamin Ayres in his proper person and prayeth that his and his Suretys Recogc. taken as afd may be Discharged Ordered by this Court here that Benjamin Ayres, Zorobabell French & William Burk, their Recognizances taken as afd be Discharged as prayed Benjamin |
