And now here to wit at Kent County Court at the Court house
house in the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday
of August being the fifteenth day of said month in the Year
of Our Lord seventeen hundred thirty & Eight cometh
the afd Lord propry by his Attry afd and prayeth
that the afd Stephen to the Information afd might
Answer
And the afd Stephen Bordley by Francis Jones his
Attorney comes and defends the force and injury when &c.
And saith that he cannot Gainsay the Information afd so
as afd against him brought nor can he say but that he
is guilty of the premisses afd above upon him Imposed
as by the Information afd it is Alledged and thereof
Submitts to the Court
Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at
Kent County Court at the Court house in the Town of Chester
in said County on the third tuesday of August being the
fifteenth day of said month in the Year of Our Lord
seventeen hundred thirty & Eight that the said Stephen
Bordley pay the sum of ten shillings Current money
of Maryland as a fine for refuseing to aid and Assist
the Constable afd Also it is Considered by the Justices
afd at the time & place afd that the said Stephen Bordley
pay the sum of                           pounds of
tobacco Costs Accrueing on the premisses afd to the
Officers of this Court &c.
Ordered by this Court here that the fine afd be delivd.
the sherr. of Kent County And William Harris
Gent. present here in Court Acknowledgeth the receipt
of the Same
